Understand the movement: how your body and skates work together, and what each part of the exercise is doing.
Learn to understand the movement, then take that understanding onto your skates—wherever you practise.
Online learning works best when watching is the beginning of your practice. The aim is to give you a direction, help you notice what is happening and build skills you can use beyond one exercise.
A trick becomes more useful when you understand what makes it work. We build that understanding around three pillars.
Understand the movement: how your body and skates work together, and what each part of the exercise is doing.
Feel where your weight is, how it moves between your skates and how those changes affect your balance and direction.
Learn when to act, release or change position. The same movement can feel completely different when the timing changes.
Explore how much room you have within a movement. Working across that range helps you develop control beyond one familiar position.
Bring the three pillars together and connect your movements. Flow helps you move with intention and carry control from one action into the next.
Push · Balance · Turns · Stops · Tricks
These families give us a way to develop your skating as a whole. We draw on wizard, jumps, speed slalom, slalom, slides, ramps and pump track, as appropriate to your level and the session.
Use the six-week Blueprint as a structured starting point. Connect the exercises to the pillars so you understand what you are practising and why.
Why it helps: you have a direction to follow, instead of collecting unrelated tricks.
Choose a focus from the lesson, practise it and notice the difference it makes. You can film yourself for your own review, compare attempts and decide what you need to revisit.
Why it helps: you connect an explanation with what the movement actually feels like.
Rewatch a demonstration or explanation when something is unclear. As you gain experience, you may notice details that were difficult to recognise the first time.
Why it helps: the lessons remain useful as your understanding grows, throughout your access period.
Look for the same technique, weight control and timing across different movements. Explore range and flow as your control develops.
Why it helps: each exercise becomes part of a wider understanding of skating, with more room to adapt and be creative.
Your chosen online offer explains the access period and any included mentoring or feedback. Read those details before joining so you know exactly what support you are choosing.
